Our Venues
Throughout the year, our fantastic Scholars and mentors will have the opportunity to sing, conduct and lead outreach workshops in a variety of venues. Below are some of the main venues we will use from our residential in Florence, to our outreach visit with primary schools in West Cornwall. We are grateful to our venues who allow our team to use their fantastic buildings.
il Duomo Florence (Florence Cathedral)
The highlight of the year is the opportunity to sing in Florence Cathedral. This is arguably the most beautiful and recognisable building in the entire city and one of the finest gothic-style churches in the world. This impressive building rises high above its neighbours and is visible from all around Florence, cutting a bold shape on the cityscape. The story behind its infamous dome is folklore, with it being the main subject in the Netflix series 'Medici' designed by Filippo Brunelleschi. It is an immense privilege to be able to take our scholars to sing here and we thank our partners for organising and arranging this historic visit.
