Timetable

Our York weekend residential is filled with lots of music-making but plenty of scheduled time to view the beautiful city of York. We aim to provide an enriching experience for all singers, no matter their interests or level of experience. As a choral course, the primary focus is to develop techniques and explore the vast choral repertory from all periods singing the pieces in their liturgical setting.

Our course starts with a welcome and then we're straight into rehearsals before watching evensong at York Minster culminating in a wonderful evening meal. The next two days focus on learning to read mensural notation and learning the repertoire for our services of Compline, Latin mass and Choral Evensong.
